Shannon will provide an overview of GI and the factors that drive its implementation using Hoffman Nursery’s palette of grasses and sedges to highlight the role plant functionality plays in growing for and promoting this expanding market.
Shannon Currey is Marketing Director for Hoffman Nursery, a wholesale nursery in North Carolina specializing in ornamental and native grasses. Shannon began her career as a social scientist and changed fields to pursue her passion for horticulture. At Hoffman Nursery, she has coordinated the plant evaluation program, managed the sales team, and now oversees the marketing program. Shannon also writes articles for national trade publications and gives talks on grasses to design professionals and industry organizations.
